About PropTestLab
PropTestLab is an independent website that compares prop firms and trading VPS servers for UK and English-speaking traders, with particular attention to those who automate their trading (cBots, Expert Advisors).
The prop firm market is young, moves fast, and buries the rules that really matter, such as the maximum daily loss, how it is calculated or whether bots are allowed, in scattered FAQs. Our job is to gather them, check them and present them in a way that can be compared.
What we do
- We read each firm's official rules and record the date we checked them.
- We put them side by side so that you compare like with like.
- We publish our hands-on tests (platforms, VPS, bot execution) as we go, stating clearly what has and has not been tested.
What we do not do
- We do not promise profits. Most challenge participants fail.
- We do not sell signals, courses or trading bots.
- We do not let a higher commission change a ranking.
