E8 Markets review 2026: E8 One, E8 Pro and the rules
E8 Markets, founded in 2021 in the United States (Dallas) under the name E8 Funding, has moved away from classic multi-step challenges. Its current offers are passed in a single phase, with customisable rules. That is flexible, but every rule needs to be read carefully.
Our verdict: worth a look for a disciplined trader who wants a single phase and a wide choice of platforms, cTrader included. The maximum losses are tight: this is not the most forgiving offer for a beginner.

E8 Markets offers
Checked on 31 October 2026 on the official E8 Markets help centre. On E8 One, the overall loss can be customised at the time of purchase.
E8 One
A 6% target in a single phase. The daily loss is 3% of the start-of-day balance, and breaching it ends the account. The 4% overall loss trails your closed profits until it locks at the starting balance. Once funded, your best day must not exceed 40% of the required profit, and trading is banned 5 minutes before and after high-impact news. The profit split can reach 100%.
E8 Pro
An 8% target, but each day can count for no more than 2%: you cannot pass in a single session. The daily loss is 2.5% of the initial balance, and the overall loss is a fixed 8%. No minimum trading days. Payouts can be requested every day (minimum 1% of the initial balance), from the half of profits set aside.
E8 Signature and E8 Zero
These two offers are for futures. They use a trailing overall loss in dollars, with positions closed every day. They fall outside the scope of this comparison, which focuses on forex and CFDs.
Platforms and bots
E8 offers MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader and TradeLocker (no MT5 or cTrader for US clients). cTrader costs $10 more on accounts under $100. Bots, EAs and indicators are allowed, within these limits: one strategy per trader, a maximum of 2,000 server requests and 2,000 positions per day, and no more than half of trades held for under a minute. Using the same bot as other traders can lead to the account being closed.
Pricing
E8 does not publish a fixed price list: the fee depends on the account size and the options chosen (overall loss, platform). The exact price is shown on the checkout page.
Who is E8 Markets for?
For the trader who already knows their average daily loss and wants a single phase. For a first challenge with more room for error, a 2-step format such as FTMO or FundedNext remains more comfortable.
