E8 Markets Review 2026: E8 One, E8 Pro and the Rules

Updated October 31, 2026 · rules checked on the official website and help center

E8 Markets was founded in 2021 in the United States (Dallas) under the name E8 Funding. It has dropped classic multi-step challenges. Its current programs are passed in a single phase, with customizable rules. That's flexible, but you need to read every rule carefully.

Our verdict: a good fit for a disciplined trader who wants a single phase and plenty of platforms, cTrader included. The max losses are tight: it's not the most comfortable option for beginners.

Checked on October 31, 2026 on the official E8 Markets help center. On E8 One, the total loss limit can be customized at purchase.

E8 One

A 6% target in a single phase. The daily loss limit is 3% of the start-of-day balance, and breaching it ends the account. The 4% total loss trails your closed profits until it locks at the starting balance. Once funded, your best day must not exceed 40% of the required profit, and trading is banned 5 minutes before and after high-impact news. The profit split can reach 100%.

E8 Pro

An 8% target, but each day can count for no more than 2%: you can't pass in a single session. The daily loss limit is 2.5% of the initial balance, and the total loss limit is a fixed 8%. No minimum trading days. Payouts can be requested every day (minimum 1% of the initial balance), from the half of profits set aside.

E8 Signature and E8 Zero

These two programs are for futures. They use a trailing total loss in dollars, and positions are closed every day. They fall outside the scope of this comparison, which focuses on forex and CFDs.

Platforms and bots

E8 offers MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader and TradeLocker (no MT5 or cTrader for US clients). cTrader costs $10 more on accounts under $100. Bots, EAs and indicators are allowed, with these limits: one strategy per trader, a maximum of 2,000 server requests and 2,000 positions per day, and no more than half of trades held for under a minute. Using the same bot as other traders can get your account closed.

Pricing

E8 doesn't publish a fixed price list: the fee depends on account size and the options you choose (total loss, platform). The exact price appears on the checkout page.

Who is E8 Markets for?

For traders who already know their average daily loss and want a single phase. For a first challenge with more room, a 2-step format like FTMO or FundedNext is still more comfortable.
