How We Compare
Every comparison is based on the terms published by the firms themselves (official website, FAQ, terms and conditions). When a piece of information isn't confirmed by an official source, we say so instead of guessing.
Prop firm criteria
- Loss rules: max daily loss and max total loss, and above all how they're calculated (static or trailing). This is the leading cause of failure.
- Targets and time frames: profit target, minimum number of trading days, time limit.
- Price and refund: challenge price and any fee refund on the first payout.
- Profit split and payouts: percentage paid out, frequency, payout track record.
- Platforms: cTrader, MetaTrader, others.
- Automated trading: whether bots are allowed, and the restrictions (high-frequency trading, trade copying, arbitrage).
- Reputation: years in business, verified reviews, public incidents.
Trading VPS criteria
- Server location relative to brokers' servers (London LD4, New York NY4).
- Actual resources (memory, CPU) to run one or more platform instances.
- Monthly price, uptime guarantee, trial or refund period.
Hands-on tests
When we've tested a product ourselves, the page says so, with the date and what was measured. Without that statement, the comparison is based solely on the published terms.
Updates
Prop firms change their rules and prices often. Every page shows the date it was last updated. Always check the terms on the official website before you buy.
Commissions
We earn commissions on some links. The ranking is set first, and the links are added afterward. A firm without an affiliate program can still be recommended.
